Heidi Tafel is the lead farmer. at Codman Community Farms.  She is enthusiastic, and dedicated, with a focus on making each animal comfortable, healthy and happy.  Heidi grew up on a farm, and has all round expertise on farming and equipment operation.  Heidi received her degree in Animal Science from Cornell University.  As well as her farm responsibilities, she is an active member of the National Guard Reserve trained as a mechanic.    

Kit Carmody is a board member who is now dedicating his time to the farm as development director and a farmer.    A former financial worker, Kit is enjoying the change of pace and finding that farming is tough, but rewarding work!  

Kyra Cressotti is our newest assistant farmer.  Kyra hails from Connecticut and has a degree in Equine Industries.   She has quickly learned the ropes here, and animals and people love her!

Lisa Hession-Kunz runs the non-farming side of things, running the administrative and outreach functions of the farm.

Volunteer of the Year

Joan Teebagy is our volunteer of the year for her extensive work with our poultry, and willingness to help as needed!   Joan has cotaught our chicken classes, helped with various groups including the Metco group and girl scouts.  Joan is an avid gardener, has chickens of her own, and is enjoying her new grandson!
